Crystals for diffractometric measurement by controlled slow precipitation

Produce good-sized crystals using the slow precipitation and slow cooling process with the xelsius Reaction Workstation. The organometallics substance is dissolved in anhydrous acetone and left at 10°C for 2 days. The slow evaporation of the solvent produces crystals of a reasonable size. Low temperature ensures slow precipitation of the complex, to avoid a risk of accelerating the precipitation times and not obtaining crystals that can be analysed by means of diffractometric techniques.
